Free ATS Resume Checker for ERP Functional Consultants

Recruiters hiring ERP functional consultants screen on the product and module - Oracle Fusion, Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Workday or others - and on full-cycle implementations you have been part of. Upload your resume to see how it reads, which ERP skills it finds, and what to improve before you apply.

By uploading, you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy. Your CV is saved to a RoleMapr profile under the email in it, and that profile is visible to recruiters - even before you create an account.

What to highlight at your experience level

Fresher / 0-2 years

Name the product and module you know, and the tasks you did on a project - configuration, test scripts, data loads, user training. A domain background in finance, HR or supply chain is worth stating clearly.

2-5 years

Show full-cycle implementations and support work by phase - fit gap, design, configuration, UAT, cutover and hypercare. Mention the number of implementations, the countries or business units, and integrations with other modules.

5+ years

Show solution ownership - leading workshops, designing processes across modules, managing a functional team and handling client sign-offs. Mention global rollouts and change requests you scoped.

Common ERP Functional Consultant resume mistakes

  • Not naming the module. "Oracle consultant" is much weaker than "Oracle Fusion Financials - GL, AP, AR".
  • Mixing implementation and support work so recruiters cannot tell which projects you took live.
  • Writing only about configuration and leaving out the business process you improved.
  • Listing every client project with the same generic description instead of your own deliverables.
  • Packing projects into a large table that ATS software reads out of order. Use headings and bullets.

Weak vs strong resume bullet points

The strong versions say what you did, with which tool, and what changed because of it.

Weak: Did configuration of AP module.

Strong: Configured Oracle Fusion Payables for a 4-entity rollout, including approval rules and payment formats, and supported go-live with no delay in vendor payments.

Weak: Participated in UAT.

Strong: Wrote 180 UAT test scripts for the order-to-cash process in Dynamics 365 and ran sessions with 25 business users, closing all critical defects before cutover.

Weak: Handled data migration.

Strong: Led customer and vendor master data migration from Tally to NetSuite, cleaning around 8,000 records and reconciling balances with finance before go-live.

Frequently asked questions

How should I list ERP implementations on my resume?

List each project with the client industry, the product and modules, your role and the phases you worked on, such as design, build, UAT or hypercare. Say whether it was an implementation, rollout, upgrade or support project, since recruiters filter on that.

Can I move into an ERP functional role from finance, HR or supply chain?

Yes, domain experience is a real advantage for functional roles. Put your domain work first, add any ERP you used as an end user or key user, and support it with training or a certification in the product you want to work on.

Is this resume checker free?

Yes. You can upload your resume and see the results without creating an account. If you sign up later with the same email, the full report and your job matches are saved to your profile.

What does the checker look at?

It reads your resume the way an ATS and a recruiter would: the role it fits, your experience level, the skills it finds, and how clearly your work and results come across. You get strengths and areas to improve.

What happens to my resume after I upload it?

It is saved to a RoleMapr profile under the email in your resume, and that profile is visible to recruiters looking for candidates. We email that address a link to remove it at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
